Key facts
- Andy Murray has won both of his matches against Nikoloz Basilashvili
- Murray is 4-2 in 2022 while Basilashvili is 0-3
- Murray defeated Basilashvili 2-1 last week in Sydney after dropping the first set
Murray has defeated Basilashvili twice, both times after coming back from retirement. Still, the Georgian is one of the toughest players to predict on the tour as he can lose to anybody and then make a long run on a strong tournament. Murray is improving his physic and looks ready as he has already played six matches this year. Basilashvili has lost all three of his this season. Murray is the better player and favorite to win but he is not at the level to do that in straight sets. Therefore, we suggest placing a bet on over 36.5 games since both players can hold on to their serve and will probably win a set.
