Prediction fotball: Brighton vs Leicester, Premier Leauge
- Title : Prediction fotball: Brighton vs Leicester, Premier Leauge
Summary:
Leicester have lost only 2 of 14 games against the current bottom half teams, but, with players out due to injury and Vardy not appearing to be back on track since his return from injury, this may not be a bad time for Brighton to face them. Although Brighton have lost all 5 games to date against the current top 5, with an aggregate score of 14-5, more recently they have beaten both Liverpool and Spurs by a narrow 1-0 win and their last 7 home games have resulted in W1 D4 L2, so, if Vardy is still not at 100%, then Brighton could hold out for a draw

The wheels look like they might be coming off Leicester City's season based on recent form. For me it's way too risky backing them at the moment. Brighton however have only managed to win one at home in the Premier League all season so they too cannot be trusted. 7 of the last 11 at the Amex have finished as a draw so for me the draw looks a solid bet.
It hasn’t been a good few weeks for Leicester, but you’re telling me they’re the underdog in this game? The gap in the table between these two is 13 PLACES. Brighton, while they have had a decent run, just lost to West Brom. This line is an absolute steal. Do I love it because I think Leicester will click and are a far better team than Brighton? Not exactly, but a 24-point gap between them shows that, on the whole, one of these teams is much better than the other. Leicester have injury issues, but even with those they still have much more talent that the Gulls.
Brighton haven’t beaten Leicester City since 2013 and the last five meetings have been four wins for The Foxes and a draw. Leicester beat Brighton 1-0 at home earlier this season and I am backing the away win tonight.
So while the books will look at poor recent performances from Leicester and some solid play from a Brighton side flirting with the drop, I think you would have to be a damn fool to bet against Leicester on these odds. I could talk your ears off about Brendan Rodgers tactical expertise, Vardy and Iheanacho’s class, or simply about the general differences between these two clubs. But, at the end of the day, the value is just too good here to not bet Leicester. It’s really that simple.
- Leicester are undefeated in their last 9 away matches (Premier League).
- Leicester have drawn 2 of their last 3 away matches (Premier League).
- Leicester are undefeated in their last 8 matches against Brighton
- Leicester have won 1 of their last 5 matches (all competitions).
