Germany have been shakey and not looked great through the tournament coming close in last game to going out.england have looked good defensively they don't score many goals but do have many attempts.they are also unbeaten in last 8 matches.

The fact that English supporters have been allowed to return to Wembley has strengthened the English national team. 7 points have been enough for a group victory. Overall, they have met the high expectations and done what was expected of them.

They have not conceded a goal against Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic and they should be commended for that. However, there have only been two goals ahead. One came in the first round against Croatia and the other most recently against the Czech Republic. That there have been only two goals is of course less good, but there are reasons for that.

One of the reasons for the failure of the goal scorer is that the goal king Harry Kane has not started. He has not found the right one yet and has gone three games goalless off the field. Another reason is that England have played with two defensive midfielders. Federal captain Gareth Southgate has been criticized for this, ie because England play too defensively. That they have managed to keep a clean sheet against Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic is of course impressive. Although it will be increasingly difficult in the championship.
