Summary:

Everton easily beat West Ham 4-1 and qualified for the quarterfinals of the League Cup. With only four changes in the composition, it prevailed by walking. For the first time since 1993/1994 he has entered with 3x3, fair won 1-2 away from home Crystal Palace. Brighton were eliminated from the League Cup, losing 0-3 to Manchester United. In this race he did a total facelift with nine changes. In his first date in the league, he lost 2-3 in a really enjoyable game. Everton's hot start, creatively at least has risen. However, it is not did possible to overlook the very fresh image of Brighton, which has also gained contact with the goal. I will go for Over 2.5 goals.

Details:

I really like the odds in this one, most of the games this season have gone over 2.5. This one has over 2.5 written all over it in my opinion because both teams can score goals. Everton look good with their additions and Brighton can score a couple of goals.

Everton are a team flying high at present and they look really good in attack, though they often make many defensive errors for which goal keeper Jordan Pickford as come under scrutiny. Brighton looked really good against Manchester United, and can be deemed to be unlucky not to come away from the game with something. Can they claim compensation here?

Ancelotti's squad has been lethal lately, it looks like they've built a very solid team, ahead of Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison. He's in the fight for the title this season, of course, if he's going to keep it in this offensive attack format. Everton has not seen defeat in his last eight games, and at home has not lost in four games. Moreover, Brighton did not have the chance to get a point in the three direct moves made here, losing each time (1-0, 3-1 and 2-0), and I think he will give a lot in this match, even without Richarlison uncertain.

Well, Everton have hit the ground running this season and are on a 6 game win streak in all competitions. An encouraging sign for Everton fans is the amount of goals being scored. Everton have scored at least 3 goals in 4 of their previous 6 games in all competitions. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been the main man with two hat-tricks in Everton last 3 games. Brighton have lost 2 of their opening 3 league games but did pick up a 0-3 away win at Newcastle. Their two defeats have come against Chelsea and Manchester United and they did manage to score in both of those games. Therefore, there are encouraging signs but this Everton attack is likely to put their defence under big pressure and the home side should have the edge.

I have to go for over 2,5 goals. Both teams have played really well so far this season, with Everton winning all 3 matches, while Brighton won 1 and lost 2 in a very unlucky way. They both played offensive football, and in the 6 collective matches, the 2 teams had 5 over 2.5 goals, and 23 collective goals, for an average of almost 4 goals per match

My prediction> over 2,5 goals
