These two heavyweights have been hard to split over the last decade, with each side winning six of the last 12 meetings. The Tigers won the most recent meeting, triumphing 88-82 in a thriller last season. I send a photo on that one.

The Tigers bounced back from defeat to ladder leaders Port Adelaide three weeks ago by recording back-to-back wins over the Gold Coast Suns and Essendon Bombers to sit fifth on the table. 
Neither of those victories were comprehensive with a hard-fought 53-32 success over the Suns and a 73-61 win over the Bombers in Darwin. But Richmond are beginning to find their best form at the right end of the season. The Eagles, though, represent a bigger test of the Tigers' credentials to win back-to-back premierships.
The Eagles sit nicely in fourth spot on the table after eight wins in a row. They have had the luxury of playing the last six of those all at home at Optus Stadium, but must now prove themselves on the road again - something that was their stumbling block earlier in the season.  
The Eagles lost to the Suns, Brisbane Lions and Port Adelaide during their last stint at the Queensland hub, before starting the long unbeaten run that includes victories over Geelong Cats, Collingwood and last weekend against the GWS Giants

Richmond are 1.78 favourites to win this massive game. The Eagles are 2.05 to make it nine wins in a row,
