Djokovic vs Rune

On his way to the quarterfinal, the Serbian defeated Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Grigor Dimitrov and Cameron Norrie. He won two tournaments this season, the Australian Open and the tournament in Adelaide.

Djokovic is a six-time champion in Rome and he defends the title won last year.

Ostapenko defeated Cirstea, Krejcikova and Kasatkina to make it to the quarterfinals.
