Summary:

Lazio hosts Bayern in the Champions League on tuesday. Both sides won 3 of the last 5 matches. Lazio have also won last 5 homegames while Bayern won 4 of the last 5 awaygames. Since this is awaygame for visitors then Bayern may be happy with score draw or just with any awaygoal(s) but i still hope that they dont stop with them and go all out attack here trying to get the victory. Bayern to win

Bayern Munchen Listing Image

Details:

My fellow tipster wrote that Munchen is in full force which according to my knowledge is far from truth. They have 8 players injured/sick eg. Costa and Muller to name few. However their team has such wide skill level that Lazio will lose this game anyway. I believe odds are high for Munchen because of so many players missing.

Lazio play their first playoff match in the Champions League in over 20 years. Fall on just the experience? Most likely.

The last time Lazio played in the Champions League play-offs was in April, 2000. 21 years ago, they lost to Valencia in a quarter-final with the overall result 5-3 over two meetings. It was a long time ago, we do not get away with it and most often it is precisely experience that weighs heaviest in these contexts. And it has Bayern Munich. And it is no wonder that Bayern are painted as favorites here, they won the competition a couple of months ago and were completely superior as well.

Now the steam locomotive from Bayern has slowed down a bit in recent weeks, two straight points losses in the Bundesliga is a fact, but a round of 16 final here in the Champions League should probably still be able to get them started. At least that is our firm belief.

Bayern have, after all, been in a very intense period here at the end, they have, as is well known, played the club team World Cup away in Qatar and have had a hard time lighting up in the Bundesliga shortly afterwards. But now it's serious again, because the Champions League is not the Bundesliga, here you can not directly afford to be unfocused and a team of Bavarian caliber, understands this very well. Lazio, therefore, we think it will be very difficult here, even though the meeting will take place in Rome.

Lazio has certainly found the form here at the end and can be recognized after a weak start to the season 20/21. They have now secured seven wins in the last eight rounds of Serie A, which is really good, of course, but!

Bayern is an opposition from another shelf and when Lazio, for example, faced Inter here a week ago, the class difference shone through after all. Inter won that match comfortably with 3-1 and therefore we have a very hard time seeing that this Lazio will be able to disrupt Bayern. Luiz Felipe, Stefan Radu, Thomas Strakosha and Silvio Proto all look set to miss the match on Tuesday, but Lazzari are back after missing this weekend's match against Sampdoria due to suspension.

For Bayern Munich, Pavard and Muller will miss the match because they have tested positive for COVID-19, Tolisso, Gnabry, Costa, Nubel and Nianzou will not come into play either, due to injury. This is what the conditions look like before Tuesday's meeting, Bayern are likely to miss Muller, but we still think Neuer, Kimmich, Goretzka and Lewy are by far the most important players in this team (throw in Alaba and Davies there too, while still having Sane and Coman in the offensive), therefore we expect to see a well-executed match from Bayern's side - it is now they are tensing their muscles.
