SERIE A Maximum Stake, Bologna - Inter
- Title : SERIE A Maximum Stake, Bologna - Inter
Summary:
Serie A is finally back this weekend after a substantial break for the national teams, the last before the European championships to be held in the summer. It is Easter week and - as usual - all matches take place on Saturday: the round ends with Bologna-Inter, scheduled at April 3 set at 20:45. Mihajlovic's side are enjoying a good moment of form, but this season they have always struggled against the so-called big teams: only one win against Lazio and one draw with Atalanta, then only defeats. On the other hand, the Serie A leaders Inter, who has not played an official match since last March 14 beacuse of the postponement of the match with Sassuolo and due to Coronavirus. After that, the stop of the national teams forced the Nerazzurri to have a long break and Mr. Conte will have to intelligently test the psychic condition of his players. In the first leg, Inter won 3-1 thanks to a goal from Lukaku and a brace from Hakimi: Vignato scored for Bologna.

Bologna:
Bologna is looking for continuity in a season where they alternated convincing performances with unexpected falls. The rossoblùs are back from two consecutive victories against Sampdoria and Crotone which took them to eleventh place in the standings, with 34 points. Mihajlovic has done well within his friendly walls, where he collected 21 out of 34 total, the result of six wins, three draws and four defeats. Bologna have three consecutive results at 'Dall’Ara' that saw them go home with atleast 1 point. Benevento (1-1) and victories with Lazio (2-0) and Sampdoria (3-1). In the last seven games Bologna have lost only to Milan at home.
Bologna have conceded 44 goals in the league, but in two of their last four matches at the 'Dall’Ara' they have managed to keep a clean sheet. The goals scored are 39, nine of which by Soriano, the club's top scorer. Musa Barrow - at nine - is instead the player with the most assists on the scoresheet.
Tommorow night they will have maybe their biggest challenge so far this season. Against no other than the top, Inter.
Inter:
Inter are the team with the best form in the league and with the longest winning streak (8) at the moment. The departure from the cups allowed the Nerazzurri to focus exclusively on Serie A, and the results are now there for all to see and to find the last defeat, you have to go back to January 6 (Sampdoria-Inter 2-1).
Conte's eleven has shown its strength in the most recent outings, trimming three goals both to Lazio and Milan and settling in first place alone in the standings, at 65 points, +6 on the second Rossoneri and with a match less played, after the postponement of the Sassuolo game.
Inter's journey is on the verge of perfection even away from home, where it is the team that has collected the most points in Serie A (31) after AC Milan (37) with a score of 9 wins, 4 draws and the only defeat in Genoa against Sampdoria. The offensive numbers are surprising: 65 goals scored in 27 games, - the best figure in the league together with Atalanta. 19 of these goals is scored by Romelu Lukaku, second best goalscorer in the league after Cristiano Ronaldo (23).
Bologna have 3 old players from Inter, namely: Palacio, Mbaye and Medel.
Probable formation:
Bologna (4-2-3-1): Ravaglia; Tomiyasu, Danilo, Soumaoro, Dijks; Svanberg, Dominguez; Orsolini, Soriano, Sansone; Barrow. (Mihajlovic)
Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, Ranocchia, Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Brozovic, Eriksen, Perisic; Lukaku, Lautaro. (Conte)
(If De Vrij is back, he will take the place of Ranocchia.)
My prediction for Bologna - Inter:
There are 147 games played in total between Bologna and Inter in Serie A. The numbers clearly leans in favor of the Nerazzurri: 71 Inter wins, 35 draws and 41 wins for the Emilians.
If we instead only look at the matches played at the 'Dall’Ara' stadium, however, the scales rebalances incredibly: out of 73 matches, Inter have won 30 and Bologna 29
However, Inter is the team to beat this season and with all my knowledge about this team, I can feel their hunger to win the league this season. Inter finally have leaders in their team and a victory today seems destined.
Lukaku, Martinez, Barella are all leaders on the pitch with a winning mentallity like no other. Add this with the quality Inter has aquired before this season and expect another victory tommorow.
Inter, 2-0 or 3-1.
Good luck if you follow me with maximum stake on this bet, but remember to never place bets which you cannot afford to lose.
