Prediction Europa League: Roma - Manchester United

Roma:

Roma had a good start at Old Trafford: they responded to Bruno Fernandes’s opening lead with goals from Pellegrini and Dzeko, but broke down completely in the second half, where they conceded goals on almost every opportunity. Cavani with a brace, Fernandes, Pogba and Greenwood again rounded the score. Roma was also defeated by Sampdoria on Sunday and are now cut off from the race for the Champions and Europa League, Instead they will have to defend seventh place from teams like Sassuolo.

They haven't won in six games, instead they have lost in four occasions. At home, however, they lost in only two of the last 11 games.

Last-minute news, on the other hand, is the announcement of Mourinho on the Giallorossi bench, something  that will take place at the end of the season after Fonseca's farewell.

Manchester United:

Manchester United did not play over the weekend due to the resounding protest of the fans that caused the match with Liverpool to be postponed.

United is second in the Premier League, +4 over Leicester, and hasn't lost in seven games, in which they drew on one occasion. United has barely lost any games since mid-December onwards.

The English team have dominated in the direct clashes between these two teams, having won in six out of eight matches, one of which is friendly.

My prediction:

United feel pretty safe with their 6-2 from the first clash. Roma will play with little motivation but possibly want to show a good game after the confirmation of Jose Mourinho comming.

I think we will see both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals total.
