- Title : MLB: Cleveland Indians - Chicago Cubs
Summary:
The Cubs totaled 11 runs over two games before suffering a 13-2 loss on Sunday. The Indians have scored a total 25 runs over their last four contests, even though one was a shutout loss. Chicago's Jon Lester and Cleveland's Mike Clevinger combined to allow one run over 11 2/3 innings in their last outings. Don't expect the same in this matchup.

Tim McCarver said you didn't have to worry at all about your monster lead because Jon Lester "is not gonna throw to first base" and then he immediately picked you off.
Central Division action here as the Cleveland Indians host the Chicago Cubs in a rematch of the 2016 World Series. Adam Plutko will make a fill-in start for Cleveland in place of Mike Clevinger, while Jon Lester will be on the mound for Chicago. Both teams have been playing well so far this season, so it should be good one.
Wll, I really like the Cubs in this game. Lester has only given up one run through his first outings and Cleveland lineup has arguably been the worst in the leauge so far this season. I absolutely love this play and I will play over.
The over makes a lot of sense here considering the circumstances. Plutko should be very rusty and he will be facing a Cubs lineup tha has the 5 highest OPS in the leauge. Chicago has put up at least 6 of their past 11 games and I think we will see at least that many from them here. Lester certainly isnt unhittable and he appeared to have declined significantly last season. He doesnt usually go particulary deep into games...
AND...Chicago has had one of the worst bullpens in the Majors so far. Over 8 runs for sure
Prediction: Over 8 runs
