NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins - Washington Capitals

These teams have had very different starts to their “regular” season and this game could be a setter in terms of what the season will be. Let’s take a look at Washington and Pittsburgh to decide where we should be placing our bets.

Capitals should be able to win in this game. Their offense has been clicking on the back of Backstrom and a solid defense to extend leads. The Capitals are doing well against teams with a losing record while Penguins have been struggling as of late and do not play well coming off 1 days rest. 

OVER 6 GOALS

This should be a solid game for goals as Washington has scored eight goals this season while Pittsburgh has allowed 11 so far. Pittsburgh has scored five goals while Washington has allowed five as well. The OVER has hit in their last four games against one another. Six goals aren’t a lot to give up and I expect a 4-2 game or something along those lines where a push is the worst-case scenario so go with the over.
