Both Brooklyn and Atlanta are entering the Wednesday night game with identical 4-3 record.

The Nets started the season slow but have improved their form with two consecutive wins against weak teams, the Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons.

In the last one, the Pistons were easily defeated by 117-91 with Kevin Durant leading the way with 23 points, followed by James Harden with 18 and substitutes LaMarcus Aldridge with 16 and DeAndre Bembry with 15. The whole team played great offensively hitting 65.3% of the field goals and 52% of the three-point shots.

Prior to that, Steve Nash’s team was better than the Pacers, winning 105-98. For the first time this season, someone other than KD was the top scorer as James Harden dropped 29, seven more than Durant. Aldridge was once again brilliant off the bench scoring 21 points.

The Hawks are also in good shape, coming off a 118-111 win over the Washington Wizards. The Hawks didn’t miss any of their 29 free throws which played a major role in the final score. Trae Young led the team with 26 points while Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela added 16 each.
