Details:
Florida and Tampa Bay went through a lot in the opening Playoff round which makes this series even more interesting. The Florida Panthers had an amazing regular season finishing with a historic record. Anyway, their regular-season performance didn’t transfer well to the postseason as they needed two overtime wins to go past the Capitals. The defending champions Tampa Bay Lightning were down three times in the series against the Toronto Maple Leafs and their previous postseason experience played a major role in their back-to-back wins which put them through. The matchup between the two teams from Florida will be unpredictable even though the Panthers are favorites. They were excellent on home ice scoring more than 4.5 goals per game and will open the series with a strong performance winning Game 1.
1st half of NHL Parlay Florida Panthers to win
The St. Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche will meet up in a rematch of last year’s first round matchup. Colorado got the sweep in that one, outscoring the Blues 20-7 in the series. The Avalanche are 5-0 straight up in home playoff games against the Blues and are hoping to keep that up in this Game 1. With the Blues coming off their first playoff series win since hoisting the Stanley Cup in 2019, it is expected a little more resistance in this year's matchup. However, that resistance may be winning a game or two instead of a clean sweep. This series will be a one-way street and all that will start with a Game 1 win for Colorado.
