Will the Blue Jackets keep up with the playoffs?

Both are lagging a bit behind their claims this season, but that doesn't mean that there won't be a high-class game.

However, while in Detroit they deal with the situation easily and have almost expected that not every cog is working properly, in Columbus they are a bit more nervous. At least the playoffs should be there this year.

A few weeks ago they signed up Patrick Laine, the former No. 2 pick of the Winnipeg Jets, for this goal. Although they gave up Pierre-Luc Dubois and Jack Roslovic for it, they should have won this trade anyway.

They are currently two points behind the Chicago Blackhawks and the last post-season place. So nothing has been lost yet, but a win should now be urgently needed against the bottom of the division. We trust them to do that and so our prediction for Red Wings vs. Blue Jackets is a success for Columbus.
