Do the game stay hot even against the coyotes?

The Wild are currently one of the hottest teams and have won nine of their last twelve games. Nobody else in the Western Division managed that.

With that, they promptly advanced to third place in the division and are therefore considered to be a clear playoff candidate. Even second place is more than just possible with just one point behind and two games less - very few experts would have expected that.

Against the Coyotes on Friday, they are therefore again the favorites. With Conor Garland and Clayton Keller, they have two of the high-flyers in the league in their ranks, but also simply too little depth in the squad to play at the top in the long term.
